很多人使用從國外網(wǎng)站上下載的英文簡歷,以此為參考模板,撰寫自己的英文簡歷,用于應(yīng)聘在國內(nèi)的外資企業(yè)。由于這一類客戶較多,問題相對比較集中,所以我們專門對此問題做個解答。
國外英文簡歷與國內(nèi)英文簡歷相比,由于簡歷撰寫人和閱讀人的背景不相同,所以國外英文簡歷有很多地方需要根據(jù)國情做適應(yīng)性改進。
首先是國外簡歷一般都盡量不寫性別、年齡和種族等涉嫌個人隱私的'信息,因為從法律傭工角度,這些信息是涉嫌用工歧視的,招聘單位一旦被訴在招聘中涉及性別歧視、年齡歧視或種族歧視等有違法律條款的行為,是要付出巨額賠償?shù),因為外國人認(rèn)為一個應(yīng)聘人是否符合某個招聘崗位的要求,是取決于應(yīng)聘人的職業(yè)背景和職業(yè)技能水準(zhǔn),而不是上述信息。但是對在國內(nèi)的外企,你還是把上述信息、包括你的戶口所在地,都老老實實地加在英文簡歷上吧。咱們不認(rèn)為這是歧視。
其次是國外的英文簡歷一般只寫職責(zé),不寫業(yè)績,這一點與國內(nèi)的英文簡歷有本質(zhì)的區(qū)別。如果在英文簡歷上只寫職責(zé),就會出現(xiàn)千人一面的現(xiàn)象,比如大家都是公司中做會計的,各公司的會計職責(zé)就會基本一樣,但每一個做會計的都會有不同的業(yè)績,這才是簡歷中的重點,也是面試時談話的話題,所以在國內(nèi)的英文簡歷上一定要加上你的業(yè)績。
