1. Work with individuals and groups to promote healthy eating lifestyle
2. Provide nutrition education and nutrition therapy using updated evidence based practice, including conducting nutrition screen and assessment; as well as developing, implementing and documenting personalized nutrition care plan
3. Conduct group classes and lectures to educate and engage audience in healthy eating practice
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
1. Provide nutrition therapy using updated evidence based practice, including conducting nutrition screen, assessment, develop, implement and document nutrition care plan
2. Utilize biometric, anthropometric and subjective data to conduct assessment
3. Conduct meal intake analysis to determine client’s nutritional status
4. Able to use professional judgment to determine client’s nutritional requirements, nutrition-related problems, provide nutrition intervention and recommendation
5. Communicate with multi-disciplinary team to develop appropriate nutrition care plan
6. Provide nutrition care support in wellness centers mainly, and Jiahui satellite sites as needed, in line with Jiahui’s mission and core values, based on needs
7. Develop and carry out nutrition programs for staff, clients and community
8. Provide community education and health talks to client groups and corporate companies
9. Produce education materials and nutrition articles
10. Meet productivity standards and performance indicators in the various nutrition services
11. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
12. Support fellow nutritionist and provide coverage as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
1. Computer literacy – Microsoft Office suite, photo processing software
2. Experience in using Electronic Medical Record and applications
3. Cultural Sensitivity – be familiar with Chinese and western foods
4. Strong communication skills both written and oral in BOTH English and Chinese (Putonghua)
5. Excellent coordination and organizational skills
6. Possess self-motivational work ethnic
7. Basic cooking skills preferred
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
1. A baccalaureate degree in a food/nutrition-related discipline, such as dietetics, food science, hospitality management or equivalent
2. Licensed clinical dietitian with at least 2 years of clinical experience
3. Experience in outpatient, one-on-one counseling or wellness facility setting
4. Experience in communicating a diverse team of various health disciplines
5. Demonstrate understanding of local Shanghai food culture POSITION SUMMARY:
