準(zhǔn)備匯報(bào)英語(yǔ)會(huì)話:Preparing A Presentation
CHRISTINA: Liz, do you have a minute?
LIZ: Yes, of course. What is it?
CHRISTINA: I need you to help me set up for my presentation Thursday morning.
LIZ: Okay, what should I do?
CHRISTINA: Well, it isn't at this office. It's over at the Dayton Street office.
Have you been there before?
LIZ: Yes, of course. I have to go there every Tuesday.
CHRISTINA: Good. So you will have no trouble finding it.
LIZ: What's the presentation about?
CHRISTINA: I will talk about developing sales through our website.
All the branch heads will be there, and most of the staff.
LIZ: Will you need anything special for the presentation?
CHRISTINA: Well, I need the display monitor.
But Tom can set that up for me on Wednesday.
I will need you to help with everything else.
LIZ: I suppose you need the whiteboard set up.
CHRISTINA: I need the whiteboard, and pens.
I don't know if they have pens over there. So you have to bring pens. And an eraser.
LIZ: Alright. That's no problem. I will bring pens. Anything else?
CHRISTINA: Well, I'm afraid it will be troublesome, Liz.
You know what that office is like.
You will have to move some of the desks around to make enough space.
There will be at least twenty people.
LIZ: So you need me to set up fold-out chairs too.
I can do that no problem.
I will call Mary over there and ask her to make sure they have enough chairs.
CHRISTINA: Thank you. I know they have that storage room there.
There are chairs in the storage room.
LIZ: But I don't know if there are twenty chairs. I might have to bring some from here.
CHRISTINA: And we need coffee too.
Coffee and some pastries maybe. The presentation is at ten AM.
LIZ: I can go over there first thing in the morning.
Do you want me to serve instant coffee, or should I get it catered?
CHRISTINA: Catered?
LIZ: You know. Get it from Starbucks.
I can have Starbucks make me a big thermos of hot coffee.
And I can get the pastries there too. It's easy. I can pick it all up in the morning.
CHRISTINA: You are a genius, Liz. I never thought of that.
If you can do that for me, I will be grateful.
LIZ: It's no problem. I just think it's much better than instant coffee.
And if we need pastries too, it's easy to stop there.
CHRISTINA: Do you think you could get it all set up before ten?
LIZ: Of course. We need the display monitor, twenty chairs, the whiteboard, pens,
an eraser, and coffee and pastries. Anything else?
CHRISTINA: I can't think of anything right now.
You've set my mind at ease, Liz. I appreciate it.
克麗斯汀提娜：麗斯，你有空嗎？

所有的分公司主管都會(huì)到場(chǎng)，還有大部份的職員。
麗斯：你的匯報(bào)需不需要什么特別的東西？
克麗斯汀提娜：嗯，我需要顯示屏。
但湯姆會(huì)幫我在星期三裝好。
我會(huì)需要你幫我處理其它的事項(xiàng)。
麗斯：我認(rèn)為你會(huì)需要用到白板。
克麗斯汀提娜：我需要白板，還有筆。
我不知道他們那邊有沒有筆，所以你就把筆帶著，還有一個(gè)板擦。
麗斯：好的，那沒問題。我會(huì)帶筆，還有什么嗎？
克麗斯汀提娜：嗯，我還有一點(diǎn)擔(dān)心，麗斯。
你知道那間辦公室的。
你必須挪開一些桌子來(lái)騰出一些空間。
至少會(huì)有二十個(gè)人�！�
麗斯：所以你也需要我來(lái)準(zhǔn)備折疊椅。
沒問題我可以做到。
我會(huì)打電話給瑪麗確定他們那邊有足夠的椅子。
克麗斯汀提娜：謝謝你，我知道他們那邊有一個(gè)儲(chǔ)藏室。
儲(chǔ)藏室里有椅子。
麗斯：但我不知道那邊是不是有二十張椅子，我可能需要帶一些過去。
克麗斯汀提娜：我們也需要咖啡。
咖啡和小點(diǎn)心也需要。匯報(bào)是早上十點(diǎn)。
麗斯：一早我就會(huì)到那兒。
你要我準(zhǔn)備即溶的咖啡，還是找人承辦？
克麗斯汀提娜：找人承辦？
麗斯：你知道。Starbucks 有現(xiàn)成的。
我可以請(qǐng) Starbucks 幫我煮一大壺?zé)峥Х确旁诒仄坷铩?br />
我也可以在那兒買到點(diǎn)心，很方便。我一大早就可以準(zhǔn)備好。
克麗斯汀提娜：你真是一個(gè)天才，麗斯。我從沒想到那樣。
如果你可以幫我做好，我會(huì)很感激的。
麗斯：沒問題。我只是認(rèn)為那比即溶咖啡來(lái)得好。
如果我們需要點(diǎn)心，到那兒是很方便的。
克麗斯汀提娜：你認(rèn)為你可以在十點(diǎn)前都就緒嗎？
麗斯：當(dāng)然。我們需要顯示屏，二十張椅子，白板，筆，
板擦及咖啡和點(diǎn)心，還有缺嗎？
克麗斯汀提娜：我現(xiàn)在實(shí)在想不到什么了。
你讓我的頭腦放松了，麗斯。我真的很感謝。
