　　Good morning. It’s a pleasure for me to be here in front of you to present myself. My name is Jennifer Wong, and I am a candidate for the position of Overseas Sales Representative.

　　My background and work experience are tailor-made for this position. I studied marketing as an undergrad here in xx, and in 1985, I received my MBA from the University of Texas School of Business. For five years now, I have utilized my skills and knowledge as the Assistant Director of Exports for Magic Kitchen Supplies.

　　Action Appliances is a forward-looking company. I am aware that you are expanding into new markets, particularly in the U.S. Thus you are going to need aggressive, take-charge sales representatives. At Magic Kitchen, during my five years there, we expanded our U.S. market share by 25%. This is just one example of my ability to go out there and sell products.

　　tailor-made 最適合，最完美的

　　"tailor"是‘裁縫師’；裁縫師以手工制作的'西裝，總是最合身。因此這個詞組是形容某人或是某物的條件好，對于某種情況來說，是最完美、最合適的。

　　MBA 企管碩士

　　這是"Master of Business Administration"（企管碩士）的縮寫。"Master"是指‘碩士（學位）’；"Administration"是‘行政管理、經(jīng)營’的意思。

　　forward-looking 高瞻遠矚的

　　這個口語用法源自動詞詞組"look forward",‘往前看、眼光向前’之意。所以"forward looking"這個形容詞引申有‘高瞻遠矚的、考慮未來’的意思。

　　在90年代，只有把眼光放遠的公司才能生存獲利。

　　take-charge 負責的

　　這是由動詞詞組"take charge of"演變出來的形容詞，意思就是指‘能控制事情，負起責任’的人或組織。

　　我們在找一個肯負責的公司，將我們的產(chǎn)品在競爭激烈的市場中分銷出去。

　　market share 市場占有率

　　特指某種產(chǎn)品，因有固定的消費者購買，故而控制了市場的一部份；"market share"即指在同類產(chǎn)品的市場中所占有的銷售比例。"share"在此當名詞用，有‘份兒；分擔’的意思。

　　自我介紹時不應該過分謙虛，對于自己適合，并且喜歡做的工作就要強調(diào)、努力爭取，表示自己是最佳人選。關(guān)鍵詞是："tailor made"、"feel perfectly suited for"與"have prepared me well for"。

　　3. This gives you an idea of how I can go out there and sell products.

　　不能過于謙虛，但也不可空口說白話。通常要用實例說明自己在前職上的工作表現(xiàn)，以證明自己對未來的新職也能勝任愉快。

　　1. I look forward to becoming part of the Action team.

　　2. I welcome the opportunity to become part of the Action team.

　　3. It would be a great opportunity to work for Action Appliances.

　　總結(jié)你的演說時，最好以信心和熱誠重申自己看重這個機會。"look forward to+ n. (V.ing)"是表示熱切期望之實用句型，另外也可使用"welcome"。
